Purpose of the work

To guarantee the reliability of airtightness measurements.

Content of the contribution

In response to the questions of the three regional governments that had found quality deficiencies with regard to airtightness tests, the Belgian professional association has developed a control software and has organized the certification of airtightness testers.

There are two different quality frameworks in Belgium. One was presented at this conference in 2015 by Christophe Delmotte of BBRI. The members of our organization have developed a quality framework that provides better guarantees for quality and incurs significantly lower indirect cost. This presentation is to explain the content of the quality framework and regulations, as well as their advantages.

Results and assessment of their significance

Reliability of airtightness measurements, lower cost, less inconveniences, and guaranteed protection of privacy

Conclusions

The quality framework has been designed by professionals and meets the most important requirements of the users and their administrations. We are registering a fast increasing number of users.
