Measuring standard ISO 9972 (edition May 2006) - differences to the measuring standard EN 13829 (German edition February 2001) as well as state of the treatment of the DIN 4108 - 7

In May 2006 the international measuring standard ISO 9972 was published. It replaces the first edition from the year 1996 and is in large parts identical with the EN 13829:2000, which in Germany was published as DIN EN 13829 in February2001. In the following the differences of the two standards are confronted in a table, so that the substantial differences are to be recognized easily. Whether the available ISO standard is introduced in the near future also as European standard and the EN13829 will be withdrawn, yet is not to be foreseen today. In any case it is to be made certain however that the errors and obscurities contained in the ISO are eliminated.
