The aim of that study was to follow up the performance of ventilation in 2 buildings for people with respiratory illnesses. Both buildings are equipped with centralized supply and exhaust air system, either demand or user controlled. The operation of the 2 ventilation systems is followed from 2001 to 2003 with a computer based measuring system that collects hourly data : speed of fans, positions of dampers, CO2 concentration, relative humidity and temperature in building A , whereas portable dataloggers are placed for 2-6 weeks in each flat of building B both in heating season and summer time. The follow up of TVOC levels in flats will continue unil the end of the year 2003
