In this paper, the numerical and experimental performance of a new Thai Modern Façade (TMF) are investigated. Two configurations were considered namely, the Thai Modern Façade wall (TMF) and the Thai modern façade wall with fin (TMF-WF). The coupled governing equations as well as boundary conditions are solved using the finite element method (FEM) via COMSOLTM Multiphysics. Temperature profiles and flow field of the TMF and TMF-WF are reported and discussed. Different constant heat fluxes were considered namely 200, 400, 600 and 800 W.m-2; the corresponding initial condition temperatures were 27.5, 30.5, 34.5 and 38.5 ºC respectively. Results show that simulation was in agreement with experimental data. Consequently, the model considered in this study could be reasonably used to simulate the thermal and ventilation performance of TMF and TMF-WF type configurations.
