The objective of present work was to develop the metric that assess the performance of solutions securing high indoor air quality in low-energy (modern) residential buildings. This was achieved by summarizing data on the levels and types of gaseous pollutants and particulate matter in low-energy buildings and comparing them with the existing exposure limits for pollutants.
The joint CLIMA 2016 and the 12th REHVA Conference will be held in Aalborg, Denmark on 22-25 May 2016. A specific session dealing with ventilation and air infiltration is organised by the AIVC. The session will take place in Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre meeting room 9, on Wednesday, May 25 from 13:00 to 14:30.
The 12th REHVA World Congress CLIMA 2016 will be a central event in 2016 for presentation of recent international research activities and their research achievement. Many researchers from IEA and EU projects will at special sessions present their latest research results and in workshops discuss findings and future directions.

The 12th REHVA World Congress CLIMA 2016 will focus on building and Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system performance in practice in relation to fulfillment of the intended design, ability to fulfill the needs of the occupants, interaction with the users in daily practice and role in the smart energy system.
The congress will consist of a mixture of keynote, scientific and technical sessions as well as workshops, industry forums, student activities, technical tours and training courses.
