This document aims to describe and present the energy efficient measures that are implemented in four dwellingsthat are currently under construction on the foothill of mountain Dionysos, northern of Athens (Greece). The construction of the buildings is partially supported by the European DEMOHOUSE project (Design and Management Options for improving the Energy Performanceof Housing) that receives funding from the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Community. The DEMOHOUSE project actively promotes the concept of ecobuildings. The overall goal of the DEMOHOUSE project is to reduceenergy consumption for heating, cooling, ventilationand domestic hot water of existing houses by at least 30% compared to the typical construction in each participating country. The project started in October 2004 and runs for 4 years.
