In March 2022, ASHRAE released a position document discussing the role of indoor CO2 in the context of building ventilation and IAQ. The positions address the use of CO2 as a metric of IAQ and ventilation, the impacts of CO2 on building occupants, the measurement of CO2 concentrations, the use of CO2 to evaluate and control outdoor air ventilation, and the relationship of indoor CO2 to airborne infectious disease transmission.
We would like to inform you that the abstract submission deadline for the 42nd AIVC - 10th TightVent - 8th venticool conference “Ventilation Challenges in a changing world" to be held on 5-6 October, 2022 in Rotterdam, has been extended.
Abstract submission is still open and due April 26, 2022.
The date of the conference "IAQ 2020: Indoor Environmental Quality Performance Approaches Transitioning from IAQ to IEQ”, organized by ASHRAE and AIVC, is approaching. The conference will be held on 4-6 May 2022 in Athens, Greece at the Wyndham Grand Athens as an in-person conference with a hybrid track.
On March 24th, June 9th, October 27th & December 15th,2020, Annex 80 scientists, practitioners, and planners as well as representatives from the building cooling associated industry gathered for 4 remote meetings of the Advisory Board of Practitioners. This board, an initiative of Annex 80, AIVC and venticool, was founded to put results of scientific research into action by establishing strong ties to practitioners and to include their practical experience in future research projects.
The 42nd AIVC Conference “Ventilation Challenges in a changing world" will be held on October 5-6, 2022, at the Hilton Hotel, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It will be a joint event combined with the 10th TightVent and the 8th venticool conferences.
The conference programme will include well‐prepared and structured sessions focused on the conference topics, invited speakers and long and short oral presentations arising from the call.
