Little floors town-planning complexes with energy protect building systems and new types concrete in Russia at 2007

Research of adaptability to manufacture of application of designs from porous concrete with the help of methodsexpert estimating has shown a high level of adaptabilityto manufacture of the developed decisions in view of factory, transport, assembly, operational adaptability to manufacture and adaptability to manufacture of modernizationand reconstruction. Thus the integrated criterionof adaptability to manufacture is equal 0,665, that promotes increase of general efficiency of process of erection little floors town-planning complexes.

Ventilation systems to minimize food odor spreading in high rise residentialbuildings

A food odor spread is one of the air quality problems in high rise residential buildings in Korea. The food odor is mainly produced during the cooking of food. The food odor is generated in the limited spaces like in the kitchenand at a table. The ventilation systems in the buildingsdesigned to control air quality actually make the food odor spread more widely. To control the food odor spread, another types of ventilation systems are needed. In the paper, the kitchen ventilation system to prevent the food odor spread is introduced.

Distribution of a tracer gas in a naturally ventilated greenhouse. measurements and simulations for pesticides dispersion determination

Numerical and experimental results concerning the emission of a tracer gas (N2O) inside a naturally ventilatedgreenhouse are presented and analyzed. Air sampleswere continuously taken at six points in the greenhouseand in two positions outside the greenhouse using two infrared gas analysers with multiple inlets. The calculationsby the numerical model were done for several wind directions and wind speeds. In each set values for the experiments were used for air speed and direction.

Air quality in indoor swimming pools: associations with air distribution, water treatment, aerosols and airway symptoms

Adverse health effects have been reported in indoor swimming pools. Contributing factors may include high air humidity encouraging microbial growth, ventilation, aerosols and volatile organic compounds, as well as microbiological and physico-chemical quality of water. These factors were analyzed in five indoor swimming pools, of which four were to be renovated in the near future and one was only two years old. In addition, technical investigation of building structures, ventilation system, and physical conditions indoors was conducted.

e-EPBD: A distance training tool for the energy performance buildings directive

The scope of the present paper is the presentation of a dynamic and interactive vocational training tool for the implementation of the Directive 2002/91/EC.Certain features of the tool that depend on the existing legislation and restrictions in each country and certain characteristics of the trainees (e.g. profession, scientific background) that influence in a great or in a small extent the training procedure in each case are analyzed.

Fuzzy control system for regulation of integrated shading and ventilation

Automated living and working environment is becominga commonly used service. The present paper deals with a dynamically automated control of shading in buildings during mid-seasons. In addition to shading the controller also regulates illuminance levels, internaltemperatures and their harmonization. The system is designed as fuzzy controller that functions in real time and under real environmental conditions. For this purposea test chamber with an opening on the southern side was built. Changeable geometry of the opening was realized with the automated external roller blind.

Methodologies to bring innovative environmental technology R&D results into the market

It has been widely recognised that too few projects initiatedunder both national as well as EU funded research projects find their way to commercial exploitation.

The determination of conditions for microbial growth in the Crawlspaces

Temperature, relative humidity, pressure difference across the floor and microbial concentrations were investigatedin the four buildings which had either concrete floor (1 piece) or wooden floors (3 pieces) and crawlspaces. The temperature followed the outdoor temperaturein the crawlspaces having wooden floors. The relativehumidity in all the crawl spaces was continuously for a month at least 75 %. The moisture and temperatureconditions were favorable for microbial growth and several moisture indicating microbes were analyzed in crawlspaces and in indoor air.

Window opening behavior and resultant thermal and air quality environment in elementary school classrooms

A study was performed in 6 elementary schools in Japan, and measurements were made on temperature in classrooms and corridors, outdoor temperature, CO2 concentration and closing or opening of windows and doors.

Methodology and results of construction company R&D department in energy efficiency in building

To promote the sustainability the building environment is full of opportunities; in particular in Europe with the energy building performance directive and its adaptationin Spain with the new regulation on energy efficiencyin building (Cdigo Tcnico de la Edificacin: CTE). The work on energy efficiency in building could be held since different point of view.
