AIVC has joined the Covenant of Mayors as an Associated Partner.

Heralded as the “world’s biggest urban climate and energy initiative” by Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete, the Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy brings together thousands of local and regional authorities voluntarily committed to implementing EU climate and energy objectives on their territory. New signatories now pledge to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 40% by 2030 and to adopt an integrated approach to tackling mitigation and adaptation to climate change.

The Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) is organising a workshop entitled "Is ventilation the answer to indoor air quality control in buildings? Do we need performance-based approaches?" to be held on 14-15 March 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.

The 38th AIVC conference "Ventilating healthy low-energy buildings" will be held on 13 and 14 September 2017 in Nottingham (UK) together with the 6th TightVent conference and the 4th venticool conference.

The conference, co-organized by ASHRAE and AIVC, takes place Sept. 12-14, 2016, in Alexandria, Va., at the Crowne Plaza Old Town Alexandria.

During the joint CLIMA 2016 and the 12th REHVA Conference held in Aalborg on May 22-25 2016, a specific session dealing with ventilation and air infiltration was organised by the AIVC.
