An experimental study in reduced scale model for ventilation inside a sheep-fold has been studied. The ventilating system consist of two slots in opposite side walls and one in the roof, Two-dimensional jet are generated by the wind effect and temperature difference acting upon the sheep-fold.

The influence of temperature variation on stack effect in high-rise buildings.

A study has been made, both experimentally and analytically, on the characteristics of thermal performance of high-rise buildings using a simulated model building with five floors and a number of exterior openings under various temperature distributions. The effect of the temperature variation on the location of the neutral pressure level (NPL) was of particular interest of the present study.

Effect of building shape, wind shelter and openings on air infiltration.

Existing models for predicting air infiltration account for three dominant variables, namely envelope leakage characteristics, indoor-outdoor temperature difference and wind speed. Building shape, wind direction and sheltering, also influence the wind induced component of air infiltration. In this report, these variables are examined analytically and experimentally using wind tunnel data and field infiltration measurements. A sensitivity analysis of a power law infiltration relationship reveals that these factors are most significant at small temperature differences.
