TightVent Europe aims at facilitating exchanges and progress on building and ductwork airtightness issues. TightVent and its partners bring together the experience of experts to overcome major challenges towards nearly zero-energy buildings in these fields. Through publications, research, conferences and workshops, it bridges gaps between research, pioneering initiatives, and wide-scale applications. It shares positions with other industries and stakeholders and thereby bring a clear message to policy-makers and building professionals.

venticool is the international ventilative cooling platform launched in October 2012 to accelerate the uptake of ventilative cooling  by raising awareness, sharing experience and steering research and development efforts in the field of ventilative cooling. In 2020, venticool decided to broaden its scope towards resilient ventilative cooling.

The platform supports better guidance for the appropriate implementation of resilient ventilative cooling strategies as well as adequate credit for such strategies in building regulations.

Following Article 19a of the EPBD Directive 2018/844/EU, this study assessed the relevance and feasibility to introduce EU provisions for the inspection of stand-alone ventilation systems in buildings.

The vision of the Indoor Environmental Quality – Global Alliance (IEQ-GA) is to be the world’s primary source for information, guidelines and knowledge on the indoor environmental quality in buildings and places of work around the world.

The mission of IEQ-GA is to provide an acceptable indoor environmental quality (thermal environment-indoor air quality-lighting-acoustic) to occupants in buildings and places of work around the world and to make sure the knowledge from research on IEQ get to be implemented in practice.
