New AIVC Publications on Gas-Phase Air Cleaning

We are pleased to announce the release of two new AIVC publications:

• Contributed Report 20: A Method for Testing Gas-Phase Air Cleaners
• Contributed Report 21: Performance of Portable Gas-Phase Air Cleaners and Impact on Indoor Air Quality – A Literature Review

These reports are key deliverables from the IEA EBC Annex 78: Supplementing Ventilation with Gas-Phase Air Cleaning – Implementation and Energy Implications, and are the result of the collaboration between AIVC and Annex 78.

In addition, we are happy to inform you that Ventilation Information Paper VIP 42: The Concept for Substituting Ventilation by Gas-Phase Air Cleaning has been updated. The June 2025 edition now replaces the original version published in April 2021.
