The 18th AIVC Conference, Ventilation and Cooling, was held in Athens, Greece, 23-24 September 1997.

The 28th AIVC and 2nd Palenc Conference, Building Low Energy Cooling and Ventilation Technologies in the 21st Century, was held in Crete, Greece, 27-29 September 2007

The 34^th AIVC Conference: "Energy conservation technologies for mitigation and adaptation in the built environment: the role of ventilation strategies and smart materials" was held on 25 & 26 September 2013 in Athens together with the 3^rd TightVent conference, 1^st venticool conference and 2^nd Cool Roofs’ Conference. There were 167 participants.
